Orlando Mayoral del MoralIn Spain, physical therapist Orlando Mayoral del Moral conducts many manual trigger point therapy and dry needling courses leading to university specialist certificates. In 1996, Dr. Gerwin taught the first trigger point dry needling course in Spain together with Mr. Mayoral. Dr. Jan Dommerholt continues teaching advanced dry needling courses throughout Spain. In Ireland, at United Physiotherapy Clinic, physiotherapist Dr. Johnson McEvoy offers the only myofascial trigger point therapy courses exclusively for chartered physiotherapists. The courses are offered in conjunction with the David Simons Academy. In the Netherlands, Myopain Seminars collaborates with Myofasciale Pijn Seminars, which offers the most comprehensive myofascial pain education program, including dry needling.
