Dr. Stanborough is a Dutch-trained physical therapist, who received his degree in Physiotherapie from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, and his Master of Health Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Dr. Stanborough is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and has earned several certifications related to soft tissue manipulation including manual therapy, dry needling and ASTYM. He is an assistant instructor at the University of St. Augustine.

Dr. Stanborough is an assistant instructor at the University of St. Augustine. He teaches continuing education courses on the subject of Myofascial Manipulation through the University of St. Augustine throughout the United States, South America and the Orient. He is the co-editor of the 3rd edition of Myofascial Manipulation: Theory and Application. He has a varied clinical background with experience in neurology, pediatrics, and orthopedics. He is the founding partner and President of First Coast Rehabilitation (www.firstcoastrehab.com) in St. Augustine, Florida.
