The course will combine an in-depth review of challenging dry needling techniques combined with detailed clinical anatomical and dissection studies presented in the context of dry needling. We will challenge common belief systems about anatomy, explore the relationship between muscles and fascia in different areas of the body, and consider the clinical implications of these anatomical relationships.

Focused review and practice of CRAFTA techniques limited to 10 participants

Students will learn the mechanisms of cranio-cervical and vestibular-ocular (dys) function of postural control.

The CRAFTA-1 Foundations course is divided into 3 parts: Crafta 1a, the online Module, and Crafta 1b. Your registration covers all costs. Intramuscular electrical stimulation (IMES) is increasingly used in clinical practice to modify or enhance the effects of needling interventions. Yet, no published guidelines exist to assist clinicians in their clinical reasoning for selecting stimulation parameters or determining adequate dosage for the use of IMES for any musculoskeletal condition. This online course will teach clinicians how to safely and effectively implement IMES into practice based on the most recent scientific evidence.

The live Intramuscular Electrical Stimulation (IMES) course is a practical, hands-on course designed for clinicians who already completed the online IMES course. During the course, students will review and practice recommended treatment approaches using IMES for patients with neck, back, arm (epicondylalgia), hand, low back, pelvic, hip, and leg pain and dysfunction, and for muscle strengthening and motor recovery.
