Many of our graduates contact us about how they can become an instructor for Myopain Seminars, which means that we must be doing something right.
To be considered for becoming an instructor, send us your curriculum vitae and a brief essay why you want to become an instructor with Myopain Seminars. Try to avoid the obvious (i.e., “I learned so much…..”; “the courses were great”; “the courses have changed my practice more than any other course.”). Instead, give us some original thought what makes you the right person.
Myopain Seminars sets very high standards for our instructors. Before becoming a dry needling instructor, you must be an assistant instructor for at least 20 courses. For other course programs, the requirements do vary.
To become a dry needling instructor, for example, you must have passed our dry needling certification examinations, have multiple years of clinical experience, and have a combination of:
Mulitple years of clinical dry needling experience
A PhD, DSc, or other academic doctoral degree program
A transitional or original DPT degree
Fellowship status in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists
OCS or SCS certified. Other board certification will be considered
A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a master or doctoral physical therapy program
